Registered acupuncturist and herbalist, registered TCM practitioner

Tomomi graduated from The International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver.  She usually combines Japanese moxa with acupuncture.

Moxa cones are made of the medicinal herb, mugwort. It’s placed on the skin and lit up to give pleasant warmth.  The moxa is left until it’s removed when 80% burned, thus leaving no scar or burning sensation. A Japanese study shows moxa improves movement and increases the number of white blood cells, and enhances blood circulation. For these properties moxa effectively treats various inflammatory conditions such as seasonal allergies, rheumatoid arthritis, digestive problems, joint, muscle and nerve pain, gynecological problems and so on.

Tomomi works on Sundays from 9:00am to 7:00pm.
